Credentials

CONCERNING CREDENTIALS:

1) Each candidate must qualify scripturally according to Acts 15:22. 1 Tim. 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9.

2) Each candidate must be sponsored by and submitted to the Constitution and By-Laws of Church Triumphant Assemblies of Canada.

3) Each candidate shall have a testimony in harmony with the Statement of Faith as set forth in the Constitution and By-Laws.

4) Applicants must be a licensed preacher for two (2) years or more before applying for ordination papers.

 

MINISTERIAL CREDENTIALS ISSUANCE AND REVOCATION

1) ISSUANCE:

The Pastor and Board of Directors shall issue to each ordained or licensed minister, immediately upon his or her ordination or licensing, a certificate which shall indicate that such minister has been ordained or licensed according to the requirements of the articles and by-laws of Church Triumphant Assemblies of Canada affixing the organization’s seal.

2) ANNUAL FEES:

Upon the payment of an annual fee to be fixed by the Pastor and Board of Directors and ratified by the Membership, each minister shall be issued a current annual credential card and shall be eligible to vote and participate in the affairs of the fellowship.

3) SECESSION:

Any minister who voluntarily withdraws from membership in Church Triumphant Assemblies of Canada shall be regarded as having seceded.

4) SUSPENSION:

a) The credentials of a minister may be suspended by the pastor and/or the Board of Directors of the sponsoring church as a means of discipline.
b) The suspended minister has the right to appeal to the executive of the Church Triumphant.

5) REVOCATION:

Any minister may have his/her credentials revoked by a resolution of the majority of the EXECUTIVE OFFICERS should he/she be found guilty of any of the following:
a) Un-Christian or unscriptural conduct:
b) Willful neglect of ministerial duties,
c) Illegal, immoral or fraudulent conduct,
d) Willful failure or refusal to comply with the provisions of the constitution of the Church Triumphant Assemblies of Canada and it’s by-laws.
e) Causing division or conspiring to divide either this fellowship or any affiliate church.

6) DETERMINING CAUSE FOR REVOCATION:

a) The Pastor and Board of Directors will determine any cause for revocation of credentials and their decision will be final.
b) A complete record of all testimony shall be made and kept on record.

7) REINSTATEMENT:

Any minister whose credentials have been revoked and who desires to be reinstated as a Church Triumphant Assemblies of Canada minister shall make application therefore to the Pastor and Board of Directors. He may have his credentials restored at the Pastor and Board of Directors discretion.
